Bioenergy Lab

In our bioenergy lab, which is housed in Riley-Robb Hall, we perform pure- and binary-culture experiments with bacteria and archaea to study bioelectrochemical systems, photobioreactors, and syngas fermentation. We also perform genome-enabled techniques based on massive-parallel sequencing efforts in this lab. Other efforts include research with microfluidic devices and bioaerosol sampling.
